Where do I even start describing Mone’Kai (Mo) and Frantz’s wedding weekend? After driving for 6 hours from Minneapolis to Kansas City, my college friend and groomsman in the wedding, Gabe, and myself arrived in 105 degree heat. Normally I wouldn’t complain about warm weather, since its freezing in Minnesota 9/12 months, but I was not prepared to photograph a wedding in extreme heat!
Despite there being a 130 degree heat index, high humidity and a brief thunderstorm, this wedding was truly memorable for me. From the quaint ceremony at the Country Club Congregational United Church of Christ to the dance party themed reception, the inviting atmosphere, the beautiful speeches, an absolutely gorgeous ceremony and a vintage Rolls Royce… this barely covers all the aspect which made this wedding perfect!
After spending 3 days in Kansas City, MO, where many of the wedding guest nearly died of heat exhaustion, there were more than a few sneak peeks to share! Check out this slideshow for the highlights from Mo and Frantz’s special day:
